![]() Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (GB): It is the third level of LSS Certification. There is no project requirement for this level of certification. To obtain YB, candidates must successfully complete an exam and achieve an specific score (or higher) out of a total possible points. YB certified imply that a person has a basic knowledge of Six Sigma, so, he/she can actively participate in projects as a core team member or carry out smaller process improvement projects using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology and to focus on eliminating non-value-added activities and reducing costs. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (YB): It is the second level of LSS Certification. ![]() ![]() To obtain WB, candidates must successfully complete an exam and achieve an specific score (or higher) out of a total possible points. With WB certification, it is possible to understand each person’s role and responsibilities in operating systems and processes. WB certificated imply that a person has a basic understanding of the Six Sigma Methodology (strategic and tactical tools), so, he/she is aware of the need for improvement actions and can participate in teams to solve problems in a specific context within the organization.
